Employee Spotlight

Karlie Thomas is the Marketing and Design Specialist here at Heritage Window and Door. A Superior native, she is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and is an accomplished artist. She has lived in Tennessee, where she was a graphic designer for the Tennessee Titans NFL organization and later lived abroad in Japan. She is the youngest of three girls and is a very proud aunt to an eight-month old, Charlotte.

Karlie came to us in the summer of 2016 and has enhanced the branding of the company dramatically. She interacts with our customers, not only from the marketing design desk, but also at local events.

What she likes most about working at Heritage Window and Door is the opportunity to be serving her local community and being part of a world-class team.

Jerry Chiaverini

Jerry Chiaverini

Jerry Chiaverini is our senior window consultant. He has been with Heritage Window and Door for eleven years now, coming from a sales background in the coffee industry. His kind and easy going nature puts his customers at ease, knowing that he seeks to serve their needs with integrity. Customers often use words like "gentle" and "caring soul" to describe him.

He was born in St. Paul, but was raised in Duluth. He attended Central High School, graduating in 1981 after being a star Trojan hockey goalie. He and his wife, Loralee, have three children: Nicole, Kyle, Clair and three grandkids who love to watch their grandpa on T.V. when he stars in our commercials.

His advice to anyone looking to replace their windows is "Get an education on quality windows, the company you'll be working with as well their reputation."

What he likes most about working for Heritage Window and Door is the product quality, the customer service and the workmanship of the installers. As well as, working with great people!

Joe Scott

Joe Scott

Joe Scott works with new construction and light commercial sales. He has been with Heritage Window and Door for twelve years now, he is a UMD Alum, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Education.

Joe was born and raised in Duluth. He attended Denfeld High School where he played baseball and hockey. He is married to Shelley and they have two children, Lauren and Johnny who participate in dance and hockey. Besides work, Joe gives back to his hometown and the sports he loves by being an active in local youth sports. He sits on three? Boards, including the Duluth Heritage Sports Center Board, Piedmont Youth Hockey and the Duluth Amateur Hockey Association board.

His years here at Heritage have given him a lot to offer the customer as to how to best go about choosing windows for their project. His best advice when it comes to windows and doors is: "Take your time. Learn about the windows and the company you're having do the work in your home".

What he likes most about working for Heritage Window and Door is the ability to see cool designs come to life such as a couple of his favorite projects: a beautiful home with a view of the golf course in Bayfield, WI and more recently a luxury home on the North Shore overlooking Lake Superior.

Andy Rose

Andy Rose

Andy Rose is our Senior Installer. He has been with Heritage Window and Door for over 23 years. He is a Duluth native and Central High School Alum, graduating in 1984. He is an avid fisherman and loves to spend time outdoors.

Andy comes from a long line of master carpenters and worked with his father, Don Rose, from the age that he could swing a hammer. Aside, from woodworking prowess, he also learned excellent customer service skills that make Andy our #1 rated Installer year after year. Our customers often write letters about Andy and even bake him cookies from time to time.

To quote our owner, Paul Kellner, "I trust Andy like a brother, he's exactly the kind of person that we want to send out on a job. He's smart, honest, incredibly talented, he's friendly, and he throws in funny to boot. What more could you ask for?"
